You guys know I bottle things up inside, but its hard to date at my age. I finally bottomed out, this morning I broke my resolution and smoked two packs of cigarettes. During my birthday party of loneliness, no less. You better believe it was great. Is that even legal? Well, that’s the moment when I initially thought about singles events in Denver or Dallas.
Easy solution. Figured I’d boost my dating life at Great Expectations Denver. Probably could do me good. Loneliness bites, heres why. While eating corn on the cob at my boy’s t-ball game in Dallas last week, my sister wanted to know if I have yet to win that special someone. At first I didn’t know what to say to that. I laughed and spit out, “I’m working on it, chill out.”
Can you believe that even The Old Tooter (aka: grandpa) mindlessly kept jabbing me on the topic of my companionship situation. I joked to each of them: “Seriously, I manage, don’t I?”
Guess what? Everyone looked away and giggled. Immediately, I rang Margaret because the dating pressure was too much. I still have no idea what to do! I didn’t learn a thing. My cousin, who recently moved to Italy advised that I meet singles at Great Expectations. I said, “Fine, okay.” See, everything always works out. I am truly grateful for this Dallas dating service.
At the time, matchmaking was kinda foreign as I am a simple guy. I’d never done anything like this before, so much so that I got a little queasy. My emotional anxiety couldn’t pull the plug on us from enjoying ourselves. That night I enjoyed was a great way to start at Great Expectations. The gems of the occasion had to be the other members, some who are my new friends.
It’s been a pleasure to party at these glorious Great Expectations Denver singles events, I met a handful of marvelous guys and gals that obviously share a like-minded spirit when it comes to dating. Don’t know why I ever let everyone give me a hard time about me not dating. Amazingly enough, dating right the Great Expectations way is enjoyable and like a dream come true.
